Good information, going to be a nice game.

The only thing that pisses me off is that they've yet to release any screenshots whatsoever.

The same Nintendo Power issue with that information has screenshots.. but there are no scans yet :/
i think thats weird...i mean its still a gta people should jump on the occasion to scan those picture lol

the only thing that annoys me is the predictable mini games how original ¬_¬ (they just need to put in a few kill frenzy missions and i will be happy) the fact that the music will have no vocal either, how will that work? the only music i know that doesn't have any vocals is drum and bass, jazz and garage, although i can't complain about that

this thread is useless without scans...
If you have nothing better to say, then GTFO. Or, post some scans, it should be better

They say there's more instrument than vocal, but that means there's a small portion of vocals in the radio, well, at least there's some

And, jalaneme, I think this

smiley is better than.... "¬_¬"

how did you make that? O.o

Now, the only barier between our faith in GTA:CW, and total disappointment is some scans, let's hope for the best!

Those look good, I think this game might actually - after seeing those new screens - be good.

first screens:

those look horrid, but maybe they're just badly scanned because the driving ones look okay

Not what i expected it to look like at all, it's a brand new concept for a GTA game but I think it could work, the cel-shading gives the graphics a nice finish

at this point I'm not too worried about the graphics, if they implement some form of wi-fi play (preferably 4 player death match) then I'm sold!

Sounds awesome. I'm thinking the isometric view will be the best of both worlds.
hannah montana

Im excited for the game whether the graphics are good or not
if its a free roam game where i can go shoot people, steal cars, do w/e i want
im happy
mm. that sounds a bit sadistic.

thanks for the screenies!
its really interesting cuz the top screen will be like the main screen
and the bottom will be the action screen where you can do stuff

I liked the style of it.. hope we can get a video of it soon, probably it will look better in motion. Also, those are scans.. and bigger than the DS screen

I'm glad they decided not to try something like GTA3, the D-Pad is aweful for 3D movement.. this should be much better.. if it's as fun as the first GTA game I'll be very happy!

I thought I'd be dissappionted too, but I like the art style of it. I think the game will be full 3D top-down view, and the mini-games might be something simple, yet fun.

i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and nvidia is already doing ARM
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think they want to take more focus away from their gpus
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

AI assisted game creation might become a thing

At least that's something I think would be pretty cool.

Many TBs of assets and the programming of something like that is going to be tough but I think it's something we might see in 20 years maybe sooner
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and using LLMs to generate NPC dialogue and even dynamically generated quests is something i'm sure is already happening
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
will just take some time for games made using those things to be completed and released
