Hacking Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars problem

I am using ysmenu on my r4 card and the unpatched version of gta chinatown wars works well but whenever i try to use the flamethrower my game freezes even though i didnt turn on any cheats. Anyone have a solution? Please help...
