Who cares. They took to damn long for this game to come out that I lost all interest.
I remember being really excited about this about two years ago. That was when it looked less of a generic shooter but with each delay the game looked less and less inviting. Still I kinda hoped that it would be good in a retro Quake sort of way.
I guess if you have nothing else to play FPS games on then its a must try but other than it being a FPS on the DS there is little reason to get excited about it.
Still worth a download just to see and I know that Nintendo Power gave it something like 5/10 but they often get reviews wrong. I just hope its worth the wait, if its good then yay, if its bad then at least we can now stop having "when is core out" threads all the time.
"Did we mention it also has a sword that will allow you to travel through time? It does. Now suck it down."
I'm still hurting over Daikatana, those fucking frogs.
Secret experiments, evil corporations, extraterrestrial radiation, super soldiers, warehouses, corridors, secret laboratories, pistol>shotgun>machine gun>sniper rifle>rocket launcher>alien weapon. Could be one of about a million games, can't pretend I'm particularly excited.
There is not even any Wi-Fi, except Local Multiplayer.
I am like Dinofan01, all the delays have made me lose interest in it.
Finally! I'm very excited to see it....not the actual game, though . Just curiuos what the hell they were improving and polishing for half a year.
i wonder if there is some sort of piracy protection on it. maybe its what they been working on? (lol)
better be worth the wait.
No its because Graffiti ran out of money to release stuff, they could only afford to release one game every now and again.
There's a 99% chance that they improved absolutely nothing. Graffiti did the same thing with Black Sigil for over 3 years, and it never changed one bit since it was originally supposed to be released. Graffiti delays their published games due to 2 reasons- #1- apparently their funds (according to them) are limited and they have to save money to distribute all the cartridges. #2- to build up hype. This hype actually seemed to work pretty well for Black Sigil. At least, it got everyone's attention. Not sure about sales though.
So no, don't expect it to have changed any. Their reasons for delay are not to improve the game at all. I doubt the original developers have even touched the game in over a year and the data has been sitting on their PC's rusting for quite a while.
as long as it can compete with metroidH, ill be happy . there hasnt been a good FPS in a while. last was CoD:WAW.
yay 900th post..............
i think CoD pretty much gets the best out of the ds with it's genre (not Metroid cuz it's futuristic)
this is still something i wish to see though
when the fuck is the STREET DATE!?
I went to best buy and wal-mart and gamestop and they said that was the "PRE-ORDER" date.
best buy diddn't even have CORE in their DB
gamestop refused to tell me what the street date was. *well fuck them*
The RELEASE DATE is today. The SHIP DATE was yesterday. For example, The Conduit was SHIPPED June 21st and RELEASED June 22nd. And when did people care so much about a lackluster game? FPS games + DS =/= instant success.
cool..that means it might get dumped soon
They wrapped up development in February and haven't touched it since. One of the team was bitching about about how they wished they sold the game to another publisher because Graffiti turned out to be such a low grade publisher or something.
