can anyone help me to mess around with game_config.txt? i know that when it was used for the scds2 gba emu that many homebrew projects were fixed just by updating the text file. i tried to toy around with it but i have not been able to get The Last Seal working. the game loads but then freezes to a black screen after the intro splash screen. i'm forced to manually shut off my psp.

the game doesn't have a valid game serial, i just says "AGB-", so i'm not sure what to add for game_code line.

    i'm using a psp 3000 running 6.60 pro-c.

    thanks,

did you try a different BIOS for the GBA emulator?
edit: okay wouldn't say perfect, playable, above 20 fps and no glitchs afaik

this is the crc of the bios i have: 81977335

other games are working, so i'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the bios.

but now i'm confused, since its working for you.

Signed or unsigned wouldn't have anything to do with it once in-game, it's likely the version. Most emulators on the PSP were made with retail games in mind so I'm not surprised to hear an older one runs some homebrew correctly.

Rydian - actually I think performance and "processing hacks" are the main updates made for gpSP, since the support decreased yet the performance increased... well we didn't expect full emulation, hell full SNES emulation on PC requires a PC above average GAMING PC, so PSP shouldn't hit the full GBA emulation, even though it's PSP, maybe Vita might... doublty
