The shop were I ordered my M3 simply said they were out of stock and send me a Supercard instead. Is that OK or should I complain about it?

One question, do I need a specific trim tool for this one? I ask because I've seen M3 trim tools, so I wonder if they only work card specific.

    Any help is appreciated [IMG]

    nope no specific trim tool

see www.scdev.info for help getting started with your sc-ds1

btw.. i think you have a better cart in the sc-ds1.. it will take just a little longer to get use to all of it's features, it has many more than m3s/r4

also i hope you got a japanese made memory card as sc-ds1 is more fussy

Thanks for the reply, I'll take a look at that link.

Yeah, I read the reviews here beforehand and decided on a Japanese Toshiba SD card. I'm just trying it out with a few games and it seems to be working perfectly so far.

There’s a reason why they sent you a DS1, everyone would rather have a R4! I’d send it back, I like my DS1 but you can’t beat R4’s simplicity & development team.

If he really had a ds1 he wouldn't be saying that as r4/m3 development is behind sc-ds1 development

the only thing true is that the r4 is more simple (basic)

Well the Supercard DSOne and the R4/M3S is pretty much the same.
    So you dont get cheated.

I think romman is a cheapass fag but those devices pretty much cost the same and do the same thing as far as I can tell. If I ordered an M3 I'd be pissed cos I wanted an M3 probably, but just try it out if you aren't concerened about the sticker on it and all if it works ok then it's fine. every flash cart device is pretty cheaply made these days, not like an r4/m3 is going to be any better quality than a supercard.

I played around with it yesterday and it seems to be cool. I guess I really can't complain, I'm just glad I finally got shipped something, it took 3 weeks.

One question, I most played Phoenix Wright 3 so far and during saving the lower screen flashes a bit, is that normal?

Falek: Nope, I ordered from a German shop called Madrom.

But I'm pretty happy with the SCone now. To be honest it did everything I wanted to do with the M3 flawlessly, so there wasn't any reason to complain.
