Hacking Got R4i 3DS Gold Pro 2019 ... how to use as / or turn it into a NTRboot installer?

Topic. Got the card for 9 Bucks. Runs flawless with it's provided software on a New 2DS (FW 11.7) as a NDS Flashcard for NDS games. Ugly GUI, if you ask me, btw.

How can i use the card as a NTRboot installer? What steps are necessary?

The guide says, that this Card has a timebomb. The Link from the guide leads to https://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=490, where the staff says (in the product comment section), it dosen't have a timebomb. Now i'am confused. And if it has a timebomb, can i disable it?

Yes, you can disable it, the card will stop to work after 2014, you can bypass it by setting time backforward or boot Ysmenu on the r4i gold pro, you would better choose the R4i gold 3ds plus the next time, in the Mod3dscard, they also have the card https://www.mod3dscard.com/home/3-r4i-gold-3ds-rts-plusbest-r4i-gold-for-any-3ds-dsi.html to sell, I think you miss it.

yes, it is. and it's supposedly finally been fixed for those cards for pokemon.

the timebomb is not an issue with default OS as long as the team keeps supporting the card and applies updates. the r4i-sdhc.com team has a decent record, releasing a time bomb free firmware for their older card that doesn't support newer firmware.

but if they ever stop releasing updates you will have to switch.

What is it: YSMenu is a homebrew version of the ttmenu that loads faster than the original menu and looks like an unprepared r4 menu. Ysmenu can be used on many old ds flashcards including R4 flashcards as an alternative kernel.

Thanks for the info... All people say YSMENU looks ugly. But i have to say: The original OS of the card looks ugly as hell too.
