Hacking Got new Acekard2i from ShopTemp...and Brick it in 1 hours

As a former M3izero which good card but VERY Lazy Firmware update, I try to get a new flashcard. The Acekard2i

Order #21187 with Flashing 1.4.1 Dsi Competible

Order Date: 23rd Nov 2010

Recieve Date : 2nd Dec 2010 (Thailand)

The package come in Christmas Version.

Install AKAIO 1.8.1 and new ak2loader.nds form Acekard.com

Play Goldensun (U) work fine with Disable APP
Play 999 (U) also fine with Disable APP

BUT when I start Inazuma eleven 3 (Spark) The loading time is much more than the 2 games above and it can play like normal.......

And the sad is....after save and exit Inazima eleven 3 (Spark) by power botton, The Icon disappear from DSi menu even my Acekard still there.

Try to recover or unbrick is no use because Dsi cannot find Acekard. (But Dsi can find the old M3izero)

My system is
1. DSi 1.4.1 (US)
2. Acekard2i from ShopTemp already pre-flash come in Christmas Version (I didn't check HWID)
3. MicroSDHC PQI class6 8GB (FAT32)
Game to play and brick
1. Inazuma eleven 3 (Spark) (J) --- and probably all 512MB size such as loveplus+


Just check with a same issues on my country and the find something like this....
1. DSi + FAT32 = Brick
2. DSlite + FAT32 = Brick
3. DSi + FAT16 = Work
4. DSlite + FAT16 = Work
Are these correct?

PS. After reading N00B gide on Acekard. Unbrick Acekard must use DSlite, not DSi. (I shoud buy DSlite instead)

Yes. May Acekard is fit in slot. a bit hard to remove too.

And It brick after save and exit by power botton. DSi cannot see Acekard anymore

Try Backing up and reformatting your card with this

Then try re-flashing your card.
If the same rom is giving you problems, try getting the rom from another site.

I'm not really an expert in this.

But as far as I've heard, this can only happen if you formatted your mSD with Windows XP and try to start a 512 MB game.

That's why you should use Panasonic Formatter for your mSD.

But that shouldn't happen with 1.8.1 anymore, because it should block the game somehow if a not-working fomatting is detected.

At least that's what I know.

öhmm perhaps, the 1.4.1 fix is gone?

Sometimes (my acekard) the 1.4.1 FW fix is gone xD

And when I patch it again, my DSi found the acekard..

what the top post is describing is a contact issue, something very common with the ak2i. also, as far as i can recall, the 512mb problem was fixed in akaio awhile ago.

OK I find solution

First Format which SD Formatter in full erase on.
And re-flash Acekard again with someone DSlite.

Now Dsi can see Acekard2i again (my HWID is 81). And I didn't do any paper trick at all.

After quick test which Inazuma eleven 3 with the old PQI MicroSD class6, No more brick.
repeat 3 times and no brick.

Summary:
Normal Format in WindowsXP may cause Acekard2i brick by playing large (512 MB) game.


PS. now I don't have DSlite nearby. The large NDS game will play in M3izero only
