Out with the spray paint.
Sorted, not perfect by any means but good enough :-)
That's pretty good. Did you also apply a glossy finish to the paint?
I heard that the Supercard Lite was an extremely tight fit in the DS Lite. Doesn't the new layer of paint make it worse? Or did you sand down the cover first?
Also, do you have any more pics of the SC Lite PCB. I'm interested to see how they managed to fit that front loading transflash slot in there.
that looks pretty nice, I might have to try that as I have the same setup.
Its uber tight in the slot as I tried the edge so im letting it fully harden before I ram it in
As for the PCB no im afraid thats all I took :-)
I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but I got worried when someone said he broke the flat cable that connects the 2 PCB's when removing the case .. Was it difficult to remove it?
No it was very simple to remove, the only way to damage it is to pull the two PCB's apart which is easily avoided.
I'm surprised the supercard team never made some kind of clip on covers so you could change the colour of the SC lite easily.
Actually I think it's a good thing they decided on not using 'clip on' covers. There's been numerous complaints on the build quality of the g6's interchangable covers on how they don't align correctly.
how fast is your card
Wow, that looks great! Its a nice deep black too! Man I wish I lived in Europe.
well im doing the my eyes hurt*...untill its out in the states
* 90 day warranty- 85 days later...this thing hurts my eyes...i want a refund....
*90 day warranty- etc
Let's see some pics then, fishb!
Did I just stumble into the set of a porn film or something?
haha i was thinking the same thing
What happened with this, then?
Is that a Brawny or Bounty paper towel in that picture? LMFAO
I'm thinking its Bounty but back on topic, I'm thinking about painting mine now. Weill probably sand it down a bit first so the fit won't get any tighter with a new coat of paint. I've also just thought about painting the top part of the SCLite, the part that you actually see while its inserted. That weould be enuff to satisfy me
