Gaming Got my Pokémon Moon copy today, but it won't read.

Every time I try to load the game from the cart, it tells me the "cartridge has been removed, press home to return". Any idea what this is about?

what system you using. what CFW. what region. tell us more

Do other 3DS game cards work alright on your system? Do you have another 3DS you can try the card on (doesn't matter if it's a friend's/sibling's or not)? Just trying to rule out that the card could be defective.

Install the proper new FBI cia through that FBI and check under titles

Another person with an identical issue, looks like it's unplayable with RXTools.

Oh, ok then.

If arm9loaderhax is that much better then I'll look into it, honestly didn't like rxtools because how I was forced to boot it through the internet explorer but didn't care enough at the time to look for an alternative.

open decrypt9 from homebrew launcher and try to dump the game, if it won't dump -> game problem, return it else CFW problem
