Hi all, got the new bundle of PS3, with GTA IV =D
Great game, great PS3, everything greats but,
    1. I'm dying to transfer some music and movies to the PS3, but, how?
How can I transfer files to the PS3 from PC?
    2. Is there a plug to plug memory cards?
    3. How can I play PSP games from my PSP on the big TV with PS3?

    Thx in advance

I dont know about now, but in my day, they used to include instruction manuals with this sort of thing and you could learn all the basic functions just by reading the index/table of contents and then reading the corresponding page.

    1. I use my USB stick or Tversity
    2. ?
    3. I don't think you can do that but you can hook up your psp to the screen if its a slim & lite with some sort of cable

Read, nothing special about what I asked. Otherwise, I wouldn't ask you.

That doesn't make sense. If you bought a NEW PS3 without any paper work included then I dont know where you got it, but I'd contact Sony immediately or return that mess to the store from whence it came.

Those are basic functions of a PS3 so they are in there. You probably just aren't reading or communicating properly to us on this forum. (Psp s&l is the only PSP that connects to the TV and I thought it comes with its TV out cable...)

If Sony won't even include a USB cable to transfer one of the games their upcoming God Of War PSP bundle comes with (!), what makes you think they'd include $20 cables.

I've never bought a Sony console and I dont follow their products, simply because theres nothing I know of that interests me. That is pretty low, Sony...

nah, does nintendo include component cable with wii? or microsoft component / hdmi with xbox? Actually i don't know what comes with 360. heh.
Atleast there's usb cable with ps3.
    anyway
    1. usb stick or similar.
    2. No if you have 40gb ps3. 60gb and 80gb has memorystick places
    3. You can't, unless you have the new psp, but that works without ps3.

In Europe, the GTA IV Bundle he is talking about is only with the 40GB, so no memory card readers for you.

1: media streaming tversity, free and easy to use and saves precious hard drive space on your ps3 [IMG]
2: you can get a memory card reader from the £ shop to plug in your usb ports, and while you are at it get a usb hub too for even more usb ports.
3: with remote play, you have to set it up on your ps3, if you psp has CFW you need to have 3.90m33 and up for it to work flawlessly.
if you are talking about playing just normal psp games you need a psp slim, and some component cables with a tv that supports component cables, but let me tell you now it ain't worth it, the picture looks horrible as it's squashed.

If you read that carefully you can see that he asks how to play psp games on tv and not anything about remote play [IMG]

I don't have a PS3 yet, I'm buying one next month (I hope) with Metal Gear Solid 4, but I can answer your questions.
    1. Transferring media into PS3 is very simple. You can use a Memory card (SD or Sony Duo from PSP) or USB Jump Drive. Pictures, music and movies you can stream to your PSP, but no games for heaven's sake:)
    2. Plug to plug...... Did you mean memory slot? Usb slot?
    3. Playing PSP games (Slim version only) is possible only through PSP video cable - be aware, some cables don't show game mode, only movies pictures and generally XMB.
Which ps3 you have, 20 GB? 40 GB? Refurbished from Store?

    Must have missed my post.
The GTA IV Bundle in Europe only has 40GB PS3s.
