I was given a 16gb iTouch but the problem is that although the LCD screen is fine and doesn't seem to have any problem, it refuses to recognise anything when I touch the screen. My only option is to either send it into one the many itouch repair center in the UK (anyone have any recommendation?) or I can spend a fraction of the cost and buy a new digitzer and tool to replace it.

Has anyone replaced the touchscreen themselves and is it that difficult?
