Hacking Got corrupt black screen

I attempted to install Softcorp but Im assuming its for LU64 only anyaways I just decided to use Cioscorp again and after the install I got a black screen with broken corrupt wii message.I read something in the tutorial about switching the IOS60 to IOS30 if that happened and it worked.

Id just like to know if this will effect anything later on? Being on IOS30 I mean. I guess I installed 3.0 but just didnt see much a difference overall.
