Homebrew Got bricked after updating luma3ds but jailbreak was unfinished

I think you did not set up the luma to work without the sd card, and since you deleted the contents of the sd card the 3ds will only blink the blue led.
Try to download all the files to the SD again, if 3ds boot up normally, try restarting by holding select to open the Luma confiiguration menu, select Show NAND or user string in System Settings (this will cause the version to be shown with sys. instead of ver.)
If this works tell us, then we'll help you set up the ctrnand luma, so you can boot the 3ds without the sd card.

Now we are getting somewhere! Put boot firm from https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases/download/v9.0/Luma3DSv9.0.7z on the root of your sd. If configuration doesn't come up reboot while holding select and enable "Show NAND or user string in System Settings"
