Hacking Got an n3DS at 9.0.0-20E. Can I set up EmuNAND without a flashcard?

I tried following the RXTools Coldboot tutorial until I realized I first need to set up EmuNAND to make it work, which requires Gateway, which I don't have physically. Is the method of launcher.dat and "go-gateway-3ds-com" impossible on n3DS?

What are my current limitations for homebrew, and if I need to buy a flashcart, which one should I go for?

Read the tutorial more carefully. You don't need a Gateway card, just the launcher.dat file from the Gateway download.

And yes, you can't use the browser to go into Gateway mode or rxMode, as the n3DS browser is different to the o3DS. You used to have to use Cubic Ninja as an entry point but I believe there is a newer way. Try looking for a tutorial specifically for the new 3DS that says you don't need Cubic Ninja. I don't remember what this called but I have seen many people link it when someone asks this question.

I found it, but the problem is that I need to somehow inject the save hack into my OoT3D cartridge. I have an o3DS on 9.9 with themehax. Is there any kind of save-hack tool available?

There was tubehax to install themehax but tubehax is now defunct.
