not possible at FAT32 has a 2TB limit
it is quite possible you calling me a liar i have a 4k 4 tb western digital drive those can be converted to mbr in ease us partition manager then format drive with fat32 format and it let me format drive while retaining mbr and wbfs and gamecube load fine off of 4tb external. Played over 100 games last night. You want more proof pictures maybe? Since you have done no research and called me a liar.

well ill be. MBR is supposed to only go as high as 2tb.
Fat32 will work on that 3.63 TB partition. Provided GPT is used.
MBR cant have a single size partition larger then 2 TB.
Can you provide a screen shot of the partition type?
It should be GPT.
I like your windows 7 usage. I still use windows 7. I prefer it over 10.

I'm reading that 8tb seems to be fat32's limit. By atleast the calculations and cluster sizes. there is a 10tb external for sale at bestbuy for like $190. not sure if its still up

Yep cluster sizes matter. Homebrew needs to be written to properly handle all sizes. some loaders dont like fat32 with different cluster sizes other then the common like 4k.
finally someone who knows what they are talking about. And thank you for not just out right dismissing me like the expert

Hello.:)

Wow,thats exciting.Maybe this can bring a little light in the "not possible" thing:

"Some large USB drives have a feature in the controller that "translates" the disk sector size to 4096 bytes (instead of 512). This increases the 32 bit addressable space eightfold, so would make the size limit for MBR disks 16 Tb (instead of 2 Tb) and possibly would do allow the same for FAT32 partitions (I've never tried it). I have a disk that behaves like this - an external Seagate/Samsung 3 Tb drive. The advantage is it can be used with old OS's that don't work with GPT, like XP. The disadvantage is it breaks compatibility with some programs, e.g. Windows 7 Backup won't work with a drive with 4K sectors, period."
