I already have a childhood wii, that can play gamecube games. The Wii and GameCube have FAR superior libraries compared to the Wii U, of course. Both have more GREAT games than the Wii U has games. And, for what it is worth, most great Wii U games are even better on Switch. But a modded Wii U can play all GameCube and Wii games and even DS. So a Wii U is a great investment.
But you should have bought a New 3DS XL. It's the ultimate 3DS and can even run PS1 games under emulation (it has a much faster processor than the earlier 3DS models, which cannot run PS1 games).
They're charging like 1000 dollars for them in my area. At that point I should just buy the vectrex.Obviously a 4DS.
I have a 360 already and ps3/ps2 don't have any games I want to play. The only PS1 game I want to play is vib ribbon.Depends on what you have. 360/ps3 and ps2 are a must if you don't have them.
You know you can install cfw or hen on PS3's pretty easily, opens up the system, also you have a selection of ps1/ps2 classics official releases..I have a 360 already and ps3/ps2 don't have any games I want to play. The only PS1 game I want to play is vib ribbon.
How bad is the nand chip situation. Is it just a software fix or do you need to solder or something? EDIT: Just read up on it and it doesn't seem that bad to me.I would say a Wii U, but sadly their a risk. NAND chips on some of them have been failing and if you're not good at following instructions and even less tech savvy, then it would be a deception.
But anyway, the Wii U can play all NGC and Wii game catalogues, emulate all Nintendo classic consoles and even NDS at some extent, all in a gorgeous gamepad with an included screen, that, if you don't have a Switch, will be the perfect companion when you can't use a screen setup.
I got a ps3, hacked it, then sold my chipped ps2. The ps3 is awesome…..unless you don’t like any of the games. You know you can install cfw or hen on PS3's pretty easily, opens up the system, also you have a selection of ps1/ps2 classics official releases..
Same with the ps2, for fats you can install freehdboot on an internal hdd, and with slims mx4sio or smb.
The ps2 is irreplaceable. Unless ps2 emulation is your thing ofcI got a ps3, hacked it, then sold my chipped ps2. The ps3 is awesome…..unless you don’t like any of the games.
Once I saw I can play my ps2 games from the ps3, I made up my mind. Though it was a tough decision I’ve thought through for about a year. I had that same ps2, premodded with a DMS3+, for almost 20 years. It always worked. It was great, but time to go.The ps2 is irreplaceable. Unless ps2 emulation is your thing ofc
The thing is not all games are compatible, unless it's a BC fat. And i (personally) still wouldn't've sold it even it is, but hey i understandOnce I saw I can play my ps2 games from the ps3, I made up my mind. The NAND seem to only be related to Hynix chips, and so far I haven't found reliable information regarding how many WiiU's from all of them have a Hynix NAND chip, so its a gamble buying one.How bad is the nand chip situation. I looked through a list of consoles and PS vita, dreamcast, wiiu and maybe (If I found one for 40-60 dollars) a 2011 3DS (I used to hate that design but it grows on me every time a take a breath) are the ones I'd want
