The Google blog said it would be available after 16 December in the US and 20 December in the UK.

In the UK, the Nexus S will come free with £35 per month contracts or will be offered unlocked - to be used on any carrier - for £549.

However, a spokesperson for Carphone Warehouse said that it would take pre-orders from 1600 GMT today, but it would not be on sale "until later in the month".

The firm said it was still negotiating contracts with "all of the UK operators" and could not say when a phone ordered today would be delivered.

"We don't want to promise anything to customers that we can't deliver," she said. [/p]

Isn't this also the first device that comes bundled with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)?
Also, 4 inch Super AMOLED screen, *drool*

No matter how much I want this, I probably won't be able to afford it [IMG] considering it's $849 CAD. Well I think this will definitely get a lot of sales.

First thing its Samsung so already a no in my book.

Second thing the specs of this are so close to the Nexus 1 that they are basically just selling this phone just because of the new Android 2.3 OS. Your basically paying more just for the OS. While the other Android phones will most likely get it for free in the future.
EDIT: What the heck is the difference with the 1GHz Cortex A8 and 1GHz Snapdragon.
