It's this type of business model that has put me off buying any more of these phones. I don't buy a video game console with a contract pledge to buy X amount of games or get slapped with penalty fees, or find myself forced into playing them online when I just want single player, or any of the other bullshit stipulations they enjoy attaching in order to maximize profit.

These companies have a racket going and it would be nice to see some sense brought to the industry in the form of some heavier handed regulation.

And they can shove their upgrade pricing up the most uncomfortable orifice readily available. I am unimpressed.

Just get a cheaper phone. Not worth buying a phone this expensive.

Damn, I'd consider paying $279 if it worked with Verizon right now. Much better than paying $400-$500 for the Motorola Droid. I'm itching for an Android phone and have to wait another 13 months before I can upgrade at promotional pricing.

Where have you been for the last few years [IMG] That sounds like the kind of response you would get to showing any smart phone to somebody 10 years ago.

paying that much for a stupid phone is just ludicrous! i don't care if it could control a satellite that shoots out a laser that scratches my ass i still wouldn't blow that much ON A PHONE. your also forgetting that price is USD so slap at least another $50 on for us [IMG]
