Why is anyone even using Chrome at this point?
If Edge counts as Chrome, it's because of the features that it has and extensions that are present here but not on FireFox. FireFox is like Linux: It works like Windows, but the environment is completely different from it, making it a difficult learning curve (not the same one for a web browser) for those that are incredibly used to the norm.

Why would you need to use uBlock under Brave? It has an ad block engine built in, and uses the exact same filters. I guess the element picker is nice to have, but I'd say Brave users probably don't have much to worry about.
Except that Brave's adblocker doesn't block everything, and a while ago it stopping working against YouTube ads - had to install uBlock to nuke those.

For some reason ublock still works for me despite it being august
Open your extension manager. You should see something like this at the top:

I suppose the actual phasing-out is only happening in a few versions.

Ah, well yes, if you're running an old version of Chrome that's not getting updated, that'll do the trick lmao

Did this actually happen?

I never understand why people ask questions that can be easily Googled in the time it takes to ask the question.

Anyway.

https://www.neowin.net/news/google-to-begin-phasing-out-manifest-v2-extensions-in-chrome-on-june-3/

https://www.neowin.net/news/ublock-...to-ublock-lite-as-chrome-flags-the-extension/

https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBl...is-extension-may-soon-no-longer-be-supported"

"Google plans to finish the migration to Manifest V3 by the end of 2025." Which is what they said from the beginning of this. They never said it was all taking place and finishing in June.

Nope, Just empty threats from Google, as usual.

Or, you could try reading the post directly above yours. No empty threats were made. They never said this was all happening in June. if you hadn't noticed by this point, the topic is marked as "rumor". Googles time frame has always been to have this completely finished by the end of 2025. Any V2 extension could stop working at any time between now and then.

ABS Is the big one of the common filaments that makes potentially toxic fumes (the others are less common exotic filaments that you're not likely to ever encounter)

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
nylon might not be great either, but it's not a common filament and you need a bit of a fancier 3d printer to print it properly
  • handy333 @ handy333:
    I'll keep that in mind.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
anyway, if you can wait until black friday, keep an eye out then, i saw some nice deals last time

PLA is the most common and cheapest, and I'd recommend that to start with as a beginner if you jump into our rabbit hole.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think you can get one of the 3d printers that run klipper for closer to $100 during black friday and that will be far more of a plug & play solution cause it has a lot of intelligent features that take away a lot of guesswork and tuning to get things printing well
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    they're $150+ right now
  • handy333 @ handy333:
I'll try to hold out until black friday. I was going to try to get a steam deck but honestly, I don't think I'd use it that much.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
klipper is what all of the more premium consumer 3d printers (except bambu) run as well, they just add some extra features like built in camera with "AI"
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
being able to get that for cheap is a really good thing for people just getting into the hobby

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
