If you're into rhythm games, Deemo and Voez are very good.

Besides these, I'd recommend Oceanhorn, Implosion, Mighty Gunvolt Burst, Shovel Knight, Icey and Wonder Boy.

I bought Shantae on sale for pretty cheap last week. Not sure if it's still on sale, but its an excellent platformer with character progression.

Eh, there's plenty on the eShop at $10 or below, but often there is a markup of $5 on Steam ports.

snakepass is frequently on sale and is interesting. usually around $10. has been heroes for pysicl is usually on sale for $10

Kamiko is great, it plays a lot like 2D Zeldas, and has an epic soundtrack.
It's pretty short though, but it's dirt cheap and well worth the price.

Blaster Master Zero sells around 10€.
The other day I bought Shantae for 11€.

What type of game do you like?
I am mostly into Metroidvanias, but I prefer the nice ones. If Momodora 4 releases on Switch I would buy it again.
No idea about their prices but if you are into them, then check what I said above and also Cave Story, Teslagrad, Axiom Verge, etc.

PS: I still don't get Shovel Knight because I want to pay 15€ for it, 25€ seems too expensive for me.
