I'm well aware of the final fantasy series, and have enjoyed the Golden Sun games. Now that I've got a M3 lite for my DS, it's made me decide to revisit GBA games, and just wondering what other good RPG's were made for the GBA?

oh, I've also got Tactics Ogre and really liked that. I prefer the regular RPG style, but I'd definitely consider checking out tactics style RPGs as well

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Mario & Luigi RPG's, Riviera: The Promised Land, Fire Emblems were good.
Although Kingdom Hearts uses a card battle system and Fire Emblem is of course a turn-based strategy.

Not really, it's just a huge grind. Pokémon Emerald is the best GBA Pokémon IMO

A good RPG to get would probably be Riviera. [IMG]

    Breath of Fire II!!!
But I think the best TRPG on the GBA is Tactics Ogre: The Knight from Lodis

A second vote for FFVI. I still remember beating that game on SNES!

Those are all good ones. I also loved Summon night: Swordcraft story 2 (haven't played the first one) The battle system is a lot like the tales of -series.

Which RPG games available are the most user-friendly and easy to get into - if you've never really played many RPGs before? Last RPG I played was Final Fantasy 7 on the PS2 but I love the idea of taking an RPG on the road with you using a portable system - since it is so easy to pick up and go through at any time...

I love the MegaMan Battle Network series. However, each game is pretty much the same as the one before it. Just play 1-3 since those are the best ones. I beat 1-4 but got sick of 5 and 6 when trying to play through them.

Seconded. I felt the quality really declined after 3.

Puzzle Quest. Came out recently, not _really_ a RPG, but the gem-matching principle makes it quite easy.

Edit: Oops, major goof. Puzzle Quest is NDS, not GBA. Sorry
