I was trying to get GBA vc CIA but I had so much trouble with it and could not
get it to work. I was wondering if there is a good and fast GBA emulator. CIA to install on emunand.

On *that one* site, you can get GBA games in CIA format easily, just set it all up tonight. You need to install them on sysnand though too

Just patch the AGB_FIRM with this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-agb_firm-signature-patcher-gba-rom-converter.390313/
I can't say much for making your own GBA .cias (shouldn't be hard though with the tools around), but once you patch the AGB_FIRM you can install the .cias right to your emuNAND (or sysNAND if you prefer, but I recommend emuNAND wholeheartedly for safety reasons) and you don't have to also have them installed on your sysNAND. They'll always boot you back to sysNAND when you exit though.

If you really don't want to do that, though, check out the retroarch thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/retroarch-emulation-thread-nightly-builds-included.400913/

It lists which cores are best for which system. If none of the GBA emulators there are to your liking, mGBA is good (and I don't mean the one included in that thread), though I don't know if that's available as a .cia, nor do I know how to make it so.

This may be bold of me, but I would say retroarch's gpsp core in .cia format is the best way to play GBA games on the 3DS.
1. Has dynarec, so it is fullspeed
2. Allows customization (upscaling and filtering)
3. No sysnand hassle, install straight to EmuNAND and play

So I would recommend retroarch

mGBA is, indeed, available as a .cia

It's the closest thing to fullspeed emulation for GBA that we have right now. Nightly updates are also pushed, so be sure to keep going back and getting the new builds. They seem to be getting faster and faster.

I'll have a look at mGBA (CIA ver.), but I'd like to be able to run my GBA games installed CIAs on rxTools. Apparently people say there's no need to pach thing in rxTools 'cause rxT already patches the GBA stuff but I can't get my games to run, whether the "show agb" setting is on or off, whether I'm on sysNand or EmuNand, whether I do install a patched GBA CIA or not...
When I was on 10.3 I was not satisfied with how the sound output with mGBA, can I hope it will be better with the CIA version?
