This one did the averages and it's on the drug enforcement agency's website. Got anything to counter that?

You are using that graph to show that tobacco and alcohol are more deadly than E. The problem with the graph is that it's vague.

Case in point: How are people dying from E? Keel-over-and-die or long-term medical problems? Smoking doesn't kill you instantly, and it took us decades to be able to trace the adverse health effects back to them. How many studies on E have been done for long-term health? How many subjects are available?

Don't answer those questions. I don't care. I'm not asking them because I want you to debate me on how deadly E is. I'm just trying to prove a point that you can make graphs and statistics say anything you want.

QUOTEYeah - obviously if more people were using illegal drugs more deaths would be caused by them. My point is that legal drugs can be dangerous as well as illegal ones. How many campaigns that warn against legal drug use have you seen? There's none. As soon as kids start school they get it drilled into them that illegal drugs are bad but no information is given to warn against the use of legal ones. I'm just saying they should warn against ALL drugs..not just the illegal ones.Â

Interesting... You're in Australia, right? Things are different in the USA. We are taught that smoking and drinking are just as bad as shooting up or having unprotected sex. They drill it into us. I'm well out of school, and I'm still getting it drilled into me! They focus more on alcohol than on smoking in school, but there are huge forces working to ban smoking in public places.

Yeah I'm not really up for a debate either.

Sounds like USA is doing something right for once. But you're telling me in Texas they say drinking is just as bad as shooting up

? Dunno about that.

Drunk driving is still a problem, but they try to educate against doing it.

(You don't get shoot-ups in Texas. A lot of us carry guns under concealed handgun licenses. Surprisingly, it makes things safer.)

Part of that is because the legal age to drink is so incredibly high in the US. People have been driving a car for years and are only then allowed to drink. Does not do much good for them being able to combine drinking and driving responsibly.

Seriously, how many of you guys are on drugs? I don't have a huge problem with druggies, but seriously, why do you need some substances that are illegal and expensive just to feel happier for a bit? I don't quite get it.

I've lived in Wolverhampton for about a year. Every friday and saturday night, HUGE amounts of people go out. Not just people who are 16-30. But also older people, people who are fifty. And these people drink themselves way over the top. Worse than anywhere I've seen. People destroy their brains, puke their guts out, grope everyone who comes near (including the fifty year old moms groping my butt).

My point is, it doesn't matter whether drugs are illegal or expensive. It matters how the person who takes them handles it. There is no chance in hell I'll defend heroine, opioids or acid. The first two because they are so addictive and the last one cause it can give you hallucinations for life. But simple things like cannabis or absinth, or even shrooms are illegal for no reason. If people enjoy taking them, there is no reason not to let them. There is such a thing as own responsibility. That goes for all drugs I think.

Assuming your dealer knows what he is doing. There are enough dealers out there who don't give a shit about what happens to the people they deal to and sell complete crap.

This thread is full of fail because of any people using.

Regardless, you can always try and chase the dragon on Heroin Hero... you'll catch it eventually!

Also, to condense the rant which I was thinking about posting, I'll just say that drugs create a false interpretation of reality. If your life's that bad, don't drag it out, just end it now, it'll happen faster anyway with drugs...

Or maybe it enables you to truly see reality. How can one tell?

(more likely, there is/has been no human alive who sees/saw reality 'as it really is')

Unless you are being sarcastic (it tends to harder to pick up on the internet), I beleive he was talking about injecting heroin, which is commonly known as shooting up.

Wow, I live in Sutton, and go to school in Walsall, so I don't live too far from you. I've been to Oceana before, and I didn't see anyone taking drugs, or anyone who seemed high. Maybe that's just people my age though...

Anyway, you make a good point, it's how you handle them. But when they're really dangerous drugs, it's best not to leave people to make that mistake. Obviously just how dangerous a drug is is open to interpretation.

The reason I said that was because I don't really understand why anyone bothers taking drugs, the cons seem a lot worse than the pros to be honest.

And as for the fifty-year-old mums groping your ass, nice
