How 'bout you play 'I'm in Taiwan and it's awesome'.

For the plane ride though, one of the new 3 rpgs might take some time.

I don't think anyone else can recommend a better game than Phoenix Wright for a 13 hour flight. Though I've played it for 5 hours straight before, I took a break. In fact I'm still on that break... I should start playing it again.

Anyways, it might get tiresome so bring some good puzzle games like tetris. While picross is great, it uses too much brain power that makes "taking a break" from phoenix wright useless.

Phoenix Wright is awesome for long sessions. Seriously, once i went to bed playing it, decided to shut it off and go to sleep but then i saw daylight!

oh yeah, and for the reason:

You are on a plane, so if you get badly stuck and frustrated you have no hope of checking the net,

Elite beat agents is all skill, doubt a guide could help you.

Could always use the e-reader functions on your cart to hold a guide in there incase (esp. Phoenix wright).

EBA is decent on a flight, when I did fly with it (on a cigar tube plane) I found I couldn't get the DS in a comfortable position to play it well. Actually I was playing Oueden 2 but its the same thing.

I would add to Phoenix Wright as its not too much movement. I find games like Super Mario start to give me a headache if I'm moving while playing, dunno why this is.

However, saying this, what sort of games do you normally play? And if anyone travelling with you that might have a DS (for a bit of multiplayer)? That would make the choices eaiser.

Well Final Fantasy III would be worth a look. Mario and Luigi Partners in Time is another game recommended which I havent played.

You'll probably cringe for me saying this but Pokemon is a decent RPG but IMHO it had a fair amount of grinding in it usually.

If you liked Final Fantasy Tactics, Luminous Arc (just out) might be worth a look in too

Also for quick asides (no thinking) Clubhouse games is probably a decent one for multiplayer fun. There are probably other great multiplayer games that would be worth a look but this is one of the most diverse. Its mainly card games but has other things like darts, bowling etc.

Tetris, Rune Factory, Clubhouse Games, Picross, Pokemans, and that homebrew lemmings game. Jump Ultimate Stars is alright as well.

I quite like: American Dragon: Jake Long - Attack of the Dark Dragon, I just started playing it recently. I heard that Hotel Dusk game has a pretty good storyline. I love Phoenix Wright if you haven't tried it yet (both of these are story games, it's kind of movie-ish).
And the classic, Tetris, can be played for hours too. [IMG]
Oh and you might want to put some movies and shows on your DS too.

    I think it's pretty good -- I don't know, I might have different taste.
It's an action game, it's kind of like Mario, where you go one way and kill enemies and go through obstacles and stuff.
