I think I buy a Seagate Free Agent GO USB HDD 2,5" with 500 or 640Gb

    Will this be compatible?

And is it a good quality drive?

I use a Seagate Free Agent GO 320GB with no issues whatsoever. I'd highly recommend it.

look at the compatability list on the wiki.
i use a buffalo 1.5tb drive station. i couldnt get the whole 1.5tb as a wbfs sp i split it into 2 and it works flawlessly. one half is to backup isos/files and other is for wii.

I use a AcomData PureDrive 500 GB, after seeing it recommended in a tutorial and have never had a problem with it.
