Gaming Gonna buy a DSi XL. Have some questions that needs answering

Hello everyone, i'm deciding to buy a DSi XL and i have a few questions.

1. What are some of the flashcarts that supports this console and which is the best to get?

2. I've read somewhere that updating your dsi's firmware blocks flashcart access. Is this true? Is this temporary for all flashcarts or permanent?

3. Can the appstore work in conjunction with the flashcart? (can they coexist together)

4. Can GBA games be played on the flashcart on a DSi XL console?

AK2i is not the best in overall flashcarts. It's the DSTWO like what Rockstar said. It plays almost every game and has much more frequent updates than the Acekard 2i. But if you're on a budget, it's good enough.

No. You don't need AP Bypass. You can turn it off. But you can't play ROMs with Anti Piracy then.

DSTwo: Eats power of your DS like a hungry horse. Even for normal, old ROMs.

give it up dude..you're trying to compare an original DS to a DSI XL..you can't win
the DSTWO is far superior to the Acekard

only reason to buy an Acekard is when you can't afford a DSTWO

and when the new cyclo and ismart mm comes out, the acekard will become obsolete in a distant 4th place tied with wood R4

It can PLAY the game without patches those patches just let you use in game features all games can be played without patches.And please im not trying to argue i was just letting you know, i have no hate for the acekard i have one and still use it sometimes but it all depends on how much you are willing to spend.

the two patches is so you can play in patch mode..you don't even need them for the game to work on the dstwo
and they was release within a 24 hour window..

But are you really saying because of these 2 patch the acekard is better??

did you forget all year long with every new release you acekard user was banging at normatts door demanding an akaio update?

the dstwo made the acekard obsolete..some acekard user can't grasp that reality
