IGN said:The Fullbright Company announced today that Gone Home will make its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One debut on January 12, 2016.
This new version has been developed by Fullbright in-house and will utilize the Unity 5 engine, an upgrade from Unity 4, which was used for the original PC version. Gone Home on consoles will also feature 90 minutes of behind-the-scenes developer commentary.
It was previously revealed back then that console versions will not be released due to financial problems but it seems all problems are sorted out in due time.
The Wii U however, was left out of this announcement. This could be due to the upgrade from Unity 4 to Unity 5
