Gaming Golden Sun DS GBA connectivity and region differences?

Has anyone tried with the Japanese version if something happens when you insert the first two cartridges, or is there input for the code?

And do you think there will be any regional differences, or will it just result in a different rating on the cartridge and a more/less round Ninty logo, plus perhaps additional languages in the manual?

Don't think it will use DS <-> GBA, since the original games are old and DSi/DSiXL doesn't have a GBA port.

Codes only exist on Golden Sun 1, I really don't think a code function of a nine years old game will be added on this one.

There's no DS-GBA connectivity AFAIK. I tried it myself with both cartridges (EU) to make sure, but nothing happened. Something may still happen if you put a Japanese cartridge in, but I highly doubt that.
