After doing a bit of reading, I've found out that I'm going to buy an Acekard 2i, and looked to shoptemp to buy it.
However, I found this on the shoptemp Acekard page: PLEASE NOTE: While the Acekard 2i is compatible with the DSi and DSi XL (1.4 firmware and above), the cart may need to be patched with firmware update that enables this compatibility. You will need a regular Nintendo DS or DS Lite to perform this update, or alternatively we can do it if you choose the Premium Flashing Service.
It seemed that this flashing service was only possible if I also bought a microSD card (which I have enough of already)
Now I also looked at another site, lightake.com, and they say the following on their Acekard 2i page: All the Acekard 2i on Lightake.com are compatiable with the latest firmware 1.4.1 , no need to upgrade since Nov.5th 2010 .
Does this mean that lightake has performed the "premium flashing service" on all their Acekards already?
