I am currently on rednand, but the older version without a9hl or any of that.

So I can let the 3ds load up normally, or hold the d-pad down and load the rednand.

How would I go on about changing from that to a9hl and keeping my saves etc from my rednand.

TIA.

Use this guide https://3ds.guide/ read it all first before following it.
That's what I've been reading, and used it the other day to do a new 3ds.
But im not sure about the rednand part, obviously I will be patching the 3ds firmware, so do all my games from the rednand get transferred and or my saves??

To transfer your rednand after you install a9lh you follow this https://3ds.guide/move-emunand it says emunand but it works for both rednand and emunand aswell.I did it for my emunand back in November and everything was there, including my saves
