Need to play catch up with some Sony franchises? Well, fear no longer, as both God of War and inFamous are getting compilations.

While God of War has already gotten two previous collections, the new God of War Saga seems to be the definitive collection. It contains God of War, God of War 2, God of War 3, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. The PS2 and PSP games are both their HD versions from the original God of War Collection and the God of War: Origins Collection. It also comes with a 1 month code for Playstation Plus, all their exclusive content from their original collections, as well as "exclusive bonus content".

The inFamous Collection contains both inFamous games, as well as its downloadable standalone expansion, Festival of Blood. It also comes with extra missions, costumes, powers, and weapon styles.

Both of these launch on August 28th for $39.99 each. The Ratchet and Clank Collection will also launch the same day for $29.99 So far, only a US release has been announced.

Wish we get it, 29.99 is a steal for me since i'm new to the ps3 and didn't play most games.

Really not a fan of the GOW series, but that's a great deal of value.

But inFamous on the other hand...

That God of War collection is really impressive. I'm a bit confused, though: is it digital download only and do you need to download the PSP games to a PSP using PSN or can you play them on a PS3?

The PSP games were ported to the PS3 and play on the PS3. You can't even play them on a PSP actually.

And it seems to be retail.

Okay, thanks. Well, the Ratchet & Clank HD Collection showed up on PSN, so I thought this one might as well.

As I got inFamous free with Welcome Back Package and inFamous 2 free with PSN+ the collection isn't really a bargain for me. I may be interested in the God of War collection though.

I have not played the GoW series yet, I'll have to hit myself if I don't buy that collection! I already have both inFamous games so I don't care much for that.

    ...

...I've bought GoW HD Collection _used_ for a LOT of money since it was so rare just a few months ago.

    And now this.

Stop screwing me over, Sony :(
