Sony Santa Monica has locked in the launch of one of the PlayStation 5's most anticipated games of the year. God of War Ragnarok has just gone gold, meaning development on the game is complete, and the final version of the game is ready to be put on disc. The game will be launching on November 9th, for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Kratos and Atreus embark on a mythic journey for answers and allies before Ragnarok arrives.

From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as they prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world.

Together, Kratos and Atreus venture deep into the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for war. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, gather allies from across the realms and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters.

As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus find themselves choosing between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms…

Key Features

Those Who Break Fate – Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and what role he is to play in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.
Weapons of War – The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos and Guardian Shield return alongside a host of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. As they take on gods and monsters from across the Nine Realms, Kratos’ deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he fights to protect his family.
Explore the Realms – Journey to dangerous and stunning landscapes while facing a wide variety of enemy creatures, monsters and Norse gods as Kratos and Atreus search for answers and allies.

learn how to quote if you're that eager to shill for the last of war, not gonna click that :v.

I know full well how to quote, dingleberry breath, as I obviously made quotes. I wasn't responding to them so I didn't quote them. But here ya go, chumbly. Just to make your sad little face a little bit happier.

What the fuck are you talking about? Do you seriously think dark souls invented third person combat? Neither ragnarok nor the last game are even vaguely similar to souls games. Do you really think having a tiny bit of difficulty, being third person, and having a dodge are what dark souls games are?

Doesn't even make sense. Excuses? Panicked? Shilling? I don't think you even know what comment you are responding to. Stay sad though. Your choice, but you're a quite weird little person for calling me out on my (non) use of quotes, then "liking" the persons post who told me no need to quote them. You okay, bro? Or?

No need to quote me for whatever shit argument you two are having. Leave me out, thanks.

I wasn't trying to involve you, which is PRECISELY why I didn't quote you to begin with. But then along came ZeroBRAINS having a meltdown about proper use of quotes. I was actually agreeing with your stance and was simply using your post as an example of why ZeroBRAINS comments about God of War are unintelligent. You can simply leave yourself out. :)

I've never completed a God of war game, bought valkyrie elysium, which is similar, and I was never able to beat the demo. Though, I only died once, but I lost 30 minutes, which kinda pissed me off. I did buy that game and steel book though. Anyway, the original god of war is free through the psn collection for psn plus. I haven't played it though.
