I currently have God of War for PS2 and loved it, so I've been thinking about picking up God of War II. The question is, should I play God of War II on PCSX2 or should I shell out another $15 for the PS3 God of War Collection? I'm not sure how my PC would run GoW2 with my new PC because I'm still waiting for a replacement CPU and MoBo. Here are my PC specs (Well at least the one's that would affect performance anyways):

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE @ 3.4GHz (Stock)
    Heatsink: Stock AMD Heatsink
GPU: 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5770
    RAM: 4GB G.SKILL DDR3 1600

Will my PC play GoW2 exactly as well at 1280x720 (or 1360x768) as the GoW Collection?

PCSX2 isn't perfected yet and even with a powerful set up (i use 12gb ram, i7, sli gtx285) most games have some glitch or graphical issues.

also the upscaler is just an upscaler. PS3 one is native resolution and not upscalled, although the graphics are still PS2ish.

Couldn't resist and necro'd this topic since the person above don't know what he's talking about. PCSX2 renders 3D gfx at any given resolution. Get your facts straight.

Even a year later, reliable information is always welcome IMHO.
