    In no real order:

    Spyro: Year of the Dragon (but if I didn't have to pick one, I'd just say all of them :P)
    Guardian's Crusade
    Resident Evil 3
    Metal Gear Solid
    Legend of the Dragoon

    But man I could list so many more.

    Unfortunately one of the "greater" Censorthings in Video Game History:

    UK/US -> PAL/German Version
    Human Enemies -> no Human Enemies

    human3uncut.jpg human3cut.jpg

    Infected / Prisoners
    Just like in the "Alien" Films,you will always come across People in the Game who have been captured by the Aliens and tied to walls with slime to plant more alien larvae. Although they can still be found in the Censored Version, if alien larvae break out of them or you are shot at them, they no longer burst and no more red blood splatters. In addition, as in the film, the prisoners always shout "Help me ..." or "Kill me ...", in the German version you hear nothing more..

    What does that have to do with this thread at all? No one is asking for remakes, they're asking for your top five PS1 games. You then went on to list games that don't apply to the thread at all.
    That being said, I do want game remakes. I love being able to play old games from my childhood with modern improvements on my PC.

    Apologize for a late response, but I wanted to say that I do agree with you that FFVI is a great game and is better, now that I understand better the story line. As a kid I played the SNES version otherwise known ad FFIII in the US and yes, I played that one a lot as well. I didn't really follow the plot to well, because I wasn't adverse on following the story line or what was happening, perhaps I did understood bits of pieces here and there, but still had fun and was able to complete the game.
    I think the reason FFVII got more recognition on the death scene compared to DQ, Dragon Warrior in the US on the NES version, is most likely because FFVII rendered the scene in somewhat 3D video again compared to sprite in the DW version. In 3D rendered scene probably shows the scene more clearly, but that is just a hypothesis. I think I recall Dragon Warrior IV did the death scene as well, but it wasn't actually shown, but implied by the dialog. I admit though I am not really adverse in DQ as I really have not played many of them that is available. So I could be missing something about the death scene in DQ.
