Hey guys, kind of a stupid question, but what should I ask for for my birthday?

You see, I'm usually without money, so I never worry about new things that are coming out or have already. But when birthday time comes around, I have to find something that I want. And my family members don't like just giving me money or gift cards, they want to get me something that actually works right when I get it.

So my question to you guys, is what kind of cool new gadgets are out there?

I have a Wii, a DS with both a Supercard and an R4, and an iPod Video. I figure I don't need to ask for any DS games. Also, anything $50 or under is reasonable, but whatever is okay, just throw out some ideas.

Thanks in advance for your help and ideas!

Know the feeling, I'm hopeless at working out what I want. [IMG] I don't know the prices of things in America so don't know what falls under the $50 mark but for the sake of ideas (not exactly cool and new but I don't know what stuff you've got already [IMG] ): cheap DVD player, decent speakers, computer stuff (scanner, printer, DVD-RW, extra ports/memory, etc), digital camera, flash memory cards, accessories for the iPod (remote control, FM transmitter, etc) or the DS, extra Wii controller.

Or nice art supplies, but I'm not sure you're interested in that [IMG]

Thanks for all of the ideas guys! So here's my other question then. Assuming I get enough money from relatives and friends, what is the best Wii modchip out there these days, and the easiest to install? I've never soldered before, but the tech guy at my school has a soldering iron and some experience.

Haha, it's cool. Art supplies would be great, that is, if I could create anything remotely near "art".
