Released as a Nintendo Switch-exclusive earlier this year, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is now headed to other platforms. Developer and publisher Capcom announced that the title is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on June 1st in a recent blog post which was accompanied by a new trailer:

This was one of my favourite games on the Megadrive, but I really didn't enjoy this version at all.

it has a mode that lets you respawn right away in the same spot when you die so pretty much a save state

I have played all Ghosts'n Goblins,Ghouls'n Ghosts,Super Ghost'n Goblins and Ultimate Ghosts'n Gblins series games,i still have Capcom Generation 2 for PS1(Japanese versions of the games).
The only one i have never managed to complete is Ghouls'n Ghosts in all its versions(coin-op,sega megadrive,pc engine,ps1 and psp).
Even now i play a game of old Ghosts'n Goblins, on my PS Vita.
