Hacking Getting Smash to work online On PAL and NA 3ds?

I thought instead of spamming the other thread and everybody talking about something different we could have a thread about it here and if something comes up somebody can post it here so people can know and don't have to read 20+ pages and in the end find nothing out

Won't happen until one of these things happens:
1. rom with patch included appears - probably won't be any time soon
2. EU/US version gets an official release
3. Gateway adds support for out of region eShop - pretty much no chance of this suddenly happening
4. patch gets dumped as CIA AND Gateway adds support for installing them - pretty much no chance of this suddenly happening

I know a JP 3DZ ROM does come with a working header but you can only go online on a JP console. I hope GW can get around this restriction some time in the future.

there is one more way but it wont happen...and thats the eshop version of the game getting dumped as a .3ds file as it already has the update in it then again...would you be able to add a header to this?

There needs to be a sensible thread naming policy. Too often you click on something that seems like a guide for something when it's actually someone asking how to do something.

2nd october for the cartridge, 3rd for eshop for germany (and maybe a few other countries)
3rd october for US and rest of the EU region
4th october for AUS
and the wiiu version supposedly according to a leak on november 21st, but that`s ofc not officially confirmed, may be fake

But couldn't someone with a Japanese 3DS upload their title update folder?
I thought it was just a generic file that saves to the SD card.
Does the system check to see if it was downloaded from another 3DS?

why would anyone dump the eshop version? in my opinion only eshop exclusives should be dumped, especially not something that is going to be released internationally in a few weeks.

shovel knight was released for wiiu and 3ds on june 26th 2014 in NA region, so you can just buy for the 3ds, what`s stopping you?
