Hello:
I am trying to get m3u playlists to work in IMP-ng as it says it support them, but can 't get it to work. i downloaded a standalone playlist maker, added the mp3s from my flash(Poinint in the right place) and then copied it onto my flash. When in LMP-ng 1.02, I can see the playlist under the proper menu, but when I click on it, it shows gibberish, and freezes my DS. I have scoured the internet looking for playlist info, but there is very little about it for the LMP-ng. Is anybody successfully using playlists, and if so, what editor are you using, what settings , and where are you putting the playlist on your DS.

Thanks,

Michael

I don't have it on my flashcard any more meaning I'm working from memory here, but I can confirm playlists do work.

I used to make a folder of tracks I wanted to turn into a playlist and then run the following batch script:

@echo off
dir /o:n /b *.mp3 > Playlist.m3u

That would in turn produce a simple playlist in the following format -

trackname1.mp3
trackname2.mp3
trackname3.mp3

Then I would simply leave the playlist in the same folder as the relevant tracks and everything ran fine.
