Homebrew Getting error trying to dump cartridge to cia via hourglass

So I've used the dump cartridge to cia for donkey kong country returns 3D and Mario tennis open, just tried with fire emblem fates l.e(one with all three branches on the cart). But getting an error.

I don't know then, perhaps that one game can't be dumped, but that's just a random guess...

copy the aeskeydb.bin to the files9 folderin your sd card

Hmm I don't remember deleting it, but it doesn't seem to be there. Will try copying it over from my PC later and see if it works.

Edit: well I've not tried putting the file on the sd yet, but I also have a 2ds which is hacked that still seems to have the file. The dump cart to cia seems to be running.
Can I simply take the created cia and install it on another hacked 2ds/3ds or will I have to dump it again?
