I have a modded wii that my brother gave me - I don't know much about it but I have done a couple things with it in the past that I got instructions for in the various forums. Everything has been pretty sweet....

I bought EA Active 2 for my girlfriend..can't run the game from the disc (tries to make me get a system update) so I ripped it and it loads fine from USBLoader, however the little USB stick doesn't seem to work to connect the two armband devices. All works fine on an unmodded Wii.

Any suggestions on what I need to do to make it work? Is it possible? What information do you guys need to help me out? THANKS!

Can't really say how to fix it, as I don't have a Retail or Ripped copy.
If it is asking to update when you try to play the disc, there is likely an outdated IOS on your system that is needed to make the device work.

Only thing I can suggest to do is plop the image onto a computer and check what IOS is on the update partition of the image.

1) Don't run pimpmywii
2) Run the game through GeckoOS and it should install the correct IOS also it will skip system update.

Most likely your cIOS must be based on the IOS EA Active 2 needs.
