I just wanted help from anyone who knew any info on getting trading between ds's to work on the new pokemon games. It seems to be my HG copy only thats causing problems. I can trade between my SS and my rom of Platinum, though not between SS and HG or HG and Platinum.
Ive tried changing the name of my HG save file to play on my version of SS, and no luck. Ive also tried patching an original rom using the SS patches, and also no luck.
im using the 4.5 english + rudolph freeze patches for both versions, and have no freezing or save problems in either game.
Im also using a M3 with sakura and an R4 catridge. Ive tried trading between Platinum and SS with each game on each cartridge, and both worked, so I don't imagine its a cartridge problem, though i could be mistaken.
would anyone happen know what the issue is?
