Well my computer is REALLY slow, and most of the stuff are really like ruined. My monitor is a fat one, and yea the rest is well, real bad.

Here are the things i was thinking of:

Dell 22" LCD Flat Monitor: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1195598242810
$299.99

Dynex - Wireless Optical Mouse: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1175389260996
$26.99

Alienware: Area-51 7500 Desktop: http://www.alienware.com/product_detail_pa...DEFAULT#pdp-nav
Not sure how much it is. Need to find out

Saitek - Eclipse II Illuminated Keybored: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1156607399961
$69.99

Dynex - Keyboard+Optical Mouse: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1175901884607
$33.99

The total is about $430.96(Without adding Alienware cause i dont know the price)
Which is pretty surprising because i can do alot more on a $430 worth computer then a $400 worth Xbox 360 which i was hoping to get.

So what im asking is, is this like a good deal/what do you think of it? Am i set for COD4? Will i not lag? Etc.
Is it possible anyone can get a price on the Alienware: Area-51 7500 Desktop?
Thanks to all.

1. Subpar overpriced monitor.

2. Shitty mouse.

3. Alienware is overpriced nonsense.

4. Crap keyboard + backlights.

5. Shitty mouse and keyboard.

Go do some more research then come back with a new list.

Build a PC. It's not that daunting and you'll be amazed at the kind of money you can save.

I don't think i can "build" a PC. I cant even mod my PS1(Cut the wrong wire, had to pretty much throw it away). And i really think i cant make a PC i mean really, i dont think i can. Doubt my dad can help me with it either.

Dell's 20"-22" Ultrasharp monitors are overpriced and just subpar. Read this so you know what to look for:

Its a generic crap mouse. If you're going to be using something for hours a day, you don't want it to feel cheap and plasticky in your hand. I recommend the VX and MX revolution, as I can no longer live with freescrolling; but wait for other comments because those aren't the greatest mice if you're a gamer.

If you just want to throw money away for no reason, you can't be helped.

Then get a G15. The Eclipse II is a low quality keyboard with backlights slapped underneath to create a market for it.

And don't buy electronics (video games excluded) at Best Buy unless you have a gift card you can't get rid of.

It's a lot easier

There's nothing to solder

You just have to screw the motherboard into the case and then connect everything to the right connectors

I couldn't agree more.
a) just because you LIKE a certain company doesn't mean you have to buy everything from them.
b) I have a MX Revolution and loving it. That mouse is pretty much a regular mouse with no special features.
c) why waste money pointlessly? If you're going to do that I wouldn't be surprised if you were some sort of 12 year old who uses his parents money for everything.

The Logitech G15 Keyboard is $100.00 I dont want to spend $100 on a freaken key bored with lighting on the back.

Backlighting only?
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboard...s/3498&cl=us,en
Look.

Alright fine it also has some little LCD screen for like gaming purposes(which is cool on CoD)
And Backlighting and some "firm keyboreds" but i dont really think its worth $100

You'd spend 70USD on a keyboard with backlighting that feels like shit, but won't pay only 30USD more for a keyboard with backlighting thats awesome?

If you don't want to pay that much, don't get a backlit keyboard.

Everex gPC VIA Desktop PC-
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&Sku=E80-TC2502
Comes with keybored(crappy),mouse(not bad),speakers,and desktop.
Is currently $199.99!! Its $200!! 80GB HDD But is originally $300. $100 difference.
The Everex PC is a desktop for people on welfare who can't afford anything decent.

Or if you need a large quantity of low-powered computers for some reason.
