ok so i started play Geo Wars and it's pretty fun. but after couple games my left hand will start to cramp up... i think it's due to the position and size of the DS Lite. since i have to hold it with my left hand while navigating with the d-pad at the same time, it makes my hand cramp... therefore stopping all playing until i rest a bit.

anyone experience the same problem? any solutions?

i didn't notice this problem when i played Dementium, which has the same hand positions as Geo Wars. but maybe it's because i didn't have to make as many direction changes as often.

Yeah my hand cramps up during geo. wars as well. The only thing I could think of that would make it better for me would be one of those DS lite "cases" that sits on the back of the ds and turns it into a Playstation style gamepad.

I bought a thumb mounted stylus from ebay. Even though it was designed for PDAs, it works great for the DS and my hand cramps are gone. I did not get the flexible stylus as I heard they break, but to each his own, right?

Try using the face buttons instead of the stylus. It takes some getting used to, but it ensures no hand craps for a longer period of play.

Lol here is where a Phat DS comes in handy.

If I ever get a Lite I will probably hang onto my Phat one just for certain games.

Check for any temp throttling with software before poking around inside it depending on age might be good practices to do it anyway
