IGN already did a review on this one. They rated it with an 8.0! Just like Trauma Center the US release was the 20th november.

Boy I can't wait for this and Trauma Center....

since you seem to deny the existence of google, let me explain:
it's a shooter, maybe somewhere between tempest and robotron, with a retro look to it. very retro actually.

Why use Google if you can explain it for me?

    Thanks.

Why explain it?! There is a kick-ass homebrew game called GeoWars for DS that is a great example of how this game is. It deserves a look.

I wouldn't say that it looks very retro:

With all what's going on in the screen, simplicity on the graphics is a good thing [IMG]

The original one looked more retro:

Is this going to be a full wii game or downloadable on the VC? I know you can download geometery Wars on XBLA.

    Full Wii and DS game.
And yes, the XBLA version is a 400 Microsoft Points, 15mb download.

Look I'll make you google if you want to play it more or less right now for free in Windows.

    Google
"World of Stewart" +GridWars (Exactly it's ver 5.4 I believe)

You'll get a page from that site with a fat descriptive review, screen caps, and at the bottom the download. It's a freeware title that's so accurate to the real game that the makers of Geometry Wars 'kindly' asked them to remove it before MS found out and flogged the coder for making it.

Trust me, worth a download. Supports dual analog and everything else more or less.

Since the wii version comes out before the DS version (and has DS download play) do you guys think its possible to dump the download-play wii-to-ds version for us to play until the real DS one is out?

The Wii & DS versions have more to them plus they also have the Live game in there too. Not bad value for money.

Ugh, 4.3GB for a ~15MB game will really sting.

The 4.7GB download was totally worth it for me. Just two hours while I'm writing a grueling business case isn't that much actually.

Oh, it's different game if anyone was thinking the opposite.
Actually Retro Evolved is included in the game as a complementary mode, the main mode -Galaxies- it's really fun and as Renegade_R said: it is totally worth the download.

    It's totally worth the download.
And 4.3GB is not a problem at all with todays broadband connections.
