Hey guys,

As per thread title, having issues loading any backups off of a Samsung 128GB Micro SDXC. I used a very cheap non-branded micro SD before and everything worked perfectly fine on that (the size wasn't genuine though) but now that I have bought this much more expensive, genuine card (from Samsung themselves, so I know it's not fake) I can't get Gateway to show any games on the 3DS.

They copy over from the PC just fine (and very quickly). The card is formatted to exFAT as standard (also redid this through Windows 8 to make sure) and I'm running the Gateway Ultra Beta firmware. Any ideas as to what the issue is?

Yes the microSD is going into the Gateway card, not the 3DS. The format is exfat, it's preferable due to fat32 requiring splitting for games of 4GB+ and also loading speed. I could just change to fat32 and try though, as they're not exactly massive issues.

What baffles me is after loading into Gateway mode there aren't any errors or anything, it's just that nothing shows up, it's just an empty block where it would usually come up with the list of games. Should it say 0/0 games or something? I've posted a picture below:

Really stupid question incoming - did you press select? And nothing happens or see a gateway menu? Which GW F/W are you using? Assuming the latest, but there are about 8 different ultra versions at this point.

I don't have a 128 but when formatting see if 32 cluster size is an available option.

I don't even see a blank GW menu on that screen shot. Does the menu load with no games in it?

Also it would help if you can provide as many specs as possible. Version numbers etc.

Okay, I am officially an idiot! I bought the Gateway card a month and a half ago, bought and returned a crappy micro SD which wasn't a legitimate 128GB, stopped using it inbetween and I just got this Samsung card. Totally forgot you still have to press select to even get the menu to appear.

Thank you all for your help, my apologies for being a clown....
