Hardware Generic or OEM repair parts for psp 100

So I want to buy new joysticks and rubber contacts for psp 1000s and I was wondering if I should pay for oem or get some cheap knock offs. In my experience neither really work, so any advice will help.

I've bought and installed a knock-off joystick for PSP-1K. I noticed the plastic looked a bit flimsy, but otherwise I haven't had much of a change in gaming experience.

What about knock off rubber contacts? have you ever used one of those?

I bought a knockoff shell replacement for my 2K, and it turns out the backplate's screw holes weren't the right type so I can't able to us it. The faceplate was still fine, though the dpad was a little smaller than needed and jiggled around so I kept the original dpad and buttons for looks.
