I highly doubt it. Hopefully they wont screw it up, because it does have potential to be a great game. They already didn't include a multiplayer, which is a huge knock against it. (imagine if it turns out gorgeous, and you wont even be able to take your sword swinging skills online, laaame)
Buut I doubt it'll surpass the greatness of the best Wii games.
I'm hoping its gonna be good. I didn't like the first one all that much. The art style for this game has definitely caught my attention. I forgot, does this game support Motion Plus? I mean.. it better. It'd be stupid if it didn't.
Yeah its got motion plus on - I loved the first game - If ya could use the controls it was great - Although the sword fighting wasnt up to scratch which they will hopefully get right with the m plus
I'm so hyped for Red Steel 2! I think it looks great from all the videos we've seen and it looks like the Dev team really fixed the problems from the first. I'm sure it'll be great.

Gave it a quick go and man, it's a lot of fun! Sword combat is really well done. Feels really fluid especially with it running at 60fps. Shooting/pointer controls seem to be like The Conduit with the same possible customising in the configs.
So it definitely works only with wii motion plus ?

Yup, says M+ and nunchuk on loading it. The PAL release seems to be 'uncut'. The game doesn't have blood in it, probably to get a lower teen type age rating. I'm running it with the configurable usb loader just on default settings.WiiShizzza said:

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
