I recently installed Geexbox media player to try and play videos from my NTFS hard drive. It never picked up that it was connected. I tried using a FAT32 flash drive and it worked. Why isnt Geexbox loading my hard drive. It is a 160GB WD.

Try switching USB ports. Try Powering on the Harddrive at different times. Sometimes in HBC, others once you're in Geexbox already. Getting the harddrive detected can be finicky, at best.

I know that MPlayer_CE doesn't support NTFS, which sucks, but I've never looked back after setting up SMB to stream media thru Wi-Fi from my Windows laptop.

SMB = Samba, a linux app that communicates with windows.
How this helps you is if you are running Linux or Windows on your PC, you can set it up so the Wii can grab media files thru the WiFi off your network to play.

We download .avi's, I no longer have to transfer them to a USB stick just to watch a movie, I can leave it in my download directory, and watch it via the Wii from there. One of the coolest features of my Wii!
