Hacking GC on Wii acting weird ?

So, I have a softmodded wii, that HAS had gamecube backups working. It randomly stopped working and I didn't install a new cIOS or anything.

I installed the new rev17 and the cmios v8, and it worked 2 days ago. The next day, it wont work again.
Any thoughts ?

soo....apparently its my media? Im using sony dvd-r's....i just burned Rampage, and it worked. So do they get to scratched, or can it just 'fade' ?

And half of the games were tested then put in a case and havent been used...but dont work.

Get yourself some Taiyo Yuden DVD-Rs. They are definately the best for backups. I have a stack of PS2 games burnt a couple of years ago. Most of the Memorex discs refuse to boot, but every single TY disc works without a hitch.

Did you clean your lens with an original ninty lens cleaner they work great and solve most read problems
