just a simple question is there any way to play a GB/GBC game on the r4???
Try searching "lameboy". Its a gb/gbc emulator
ok thanx i got it & it works
I luv GBATEMP
I don't know why you'd be here if you didn't...
EDIT: why do you want to play gb/gbc?! well, actually it has a couple good games I guess... like the little-known sequel to kid icarus.
my little bro heard of pokemon Gold & we had to go out so he wanted to try it out out so yeah thats it
Monster Rancher Battle Card.
Lol, I love these idiots that think that the minute a new consoles out the games for the last one were crap. Funny stuff.
Minute =/= 6 years?
Still doesn't make the games bad, no need to point out tiny little mistakes. You got the idea.
I wish nutki had some way to communicate his progress... or at least let us donate again.
Then more to the point, the Gameboy Color really doesn't have great games. They were good at the time, because it was really all we had for portable gaming (no gamegear/wonderswan/etc comments plz).
How many of those games would you want to play today? I can only think of a few that I personally would still touch: the Beatmania games, Battle Card, possibly the LoZ games.
Compare that to something like the NES or SNES, which are considerably older, but still have many games that people still actually play.
You know, people would still read your post even if it's not "bold and purple". I stopped reading your posts a long time ago just because you want to post in "bold and purple".
If you don't read a post based on the color, then I really don't care what you have to say.
The GBC has some of the most classic games of all time, I still play a lot of them more so than the GBA and in my opinion the GBA hasn't got as many good games as the GBC, even the film cash ins on GBC weren't all bad.
Could you possibly name some? Maybe I was just playing the wrong games.
The Gameboy/Gameboy Color DID have great games in my opinion, the only reason I wouldn't play a lot of them today is because I have finished most of my favorites a million times now.
And why no GameGear comments? That also had more good games but I suppose it doesn't really say anything about the Gameboy, although it was not all there was.
You personally can only think of a few games you would play today, I can think of many.
Super Mario World
Metal Gear Solid Ghost Babel
Dragon Warrior Series
Tomb Raider 1+2
Crystalis (may be a NES remake but it is still fantastic and is quite different from the NES version anyway)
Quest for Camelot
Thats actually a pretty good list. Guess I wasn't thinking hard enough. I do have some comments though.
Tetris: Why play this over the DS remake?
Pokemon Series: Same reason as above/GBA ports/sequels.
Quest for Camelot: WHAT. I found this to just be a really, really bad Zelda clone.
Guess I have to try out those Tomb Raider games.
I don't read your posts because it's annoying. Can I ask you a question? Do you see anybody else in here who always posts in "colors"?
I'm color-blind, so I guess I wouldn't know.
Tetris - The DS one is better but it doesn't make the original less enjoyable.
Pokemon Series - Pure nostalgia, and I prefer this series to any of the others.
Quest for Camelot - I enjoyed it, matter of opinion.
And Urza, your color-blind yet you always post in purple? That doesn't really make sense...
And you do it on every other forum I've seen you on. Surely if your color-blind you wouldn't know to post in purple?
